Advantage 

1.Integrally molded seat liner on the body, which ensures excellent dimensional stability & guaranteed seat tightness.
2.Seat liner extending on to the contact faces ensures perfect sealing and eliminates the need for separate flange gaskets.
3.There are threads inserted at the two sides of the body of the lug-style butterfly valve. There is a set of two bolts used here. Each flange uses a separate set of bolts. Thanks to the threads, there is no need of using nuts, and the purpose is accomplished with the help of two sets of bolts. In this way, if one side of the piping system gets disconnected, the other side is not disturbed.
4.Lug butterfly valves are versatile because they can be used in different industrial applications ranging from low to high temperature and corrosive to non-corrosive based on the material used to make the valve.

Inspection & Test

1.Body test: 1.5 times the working pressure with water. This test is performed after valve assembly and with disc in half position open, it is called as a body hydro test.
2.Seat test: 1.1 times the working pressure with water.
3.Function/Operation test: At the time of final inspection, each valve and its actuator (Lever/Gear/Pneumatic actuator)under goes a complete operating test (Open/Close). This test carried out without pressure and at ambient temperature. It ensures the correct operation of the valve / actuator assembly with accessories such as solenoid valve, limit switches, air filter regulator etc.
4.Special test: On request, any other test can be carried out according to special instruction by client.
