1.Globe valve is a forced sealing valve, usually used as a media isolation valve, its opening and closing parts(discs) along the center line of the valve seat channel up and down. Because the flow area of the valve seat is proportional to the opening and closing stroke of the opening and closing parts, this kind of valve can adjust the flow properly, but cannot be used as control valves when the flow characteristics are required.
2.Globe valve’s structure is more simple than gate valve’s, and it is more convenient in manufacturing and maintenance.
3.Sealing surface is not easy to wear and scratch, and it has a good sealing surface and long service life.
4.When opening and closing, disc’s route is small, so the height of globe valve is smaller than gate valve, but the length of structure is longer than gate valve’s.
